Read Alliance helps to shrink the achievement gap by pairing early elementary children with high school students trained to provide one-to-one tutoring in foundational reading skills.
Our dual impact model is especially unique because high school students are trained in the curriculum, and then meaningfully employed to provide individual literacy tutoring to their younger peers, thereby preparing these two populations for academic and life success.
